King Research Collaborative: Expanding STEM Access Through Teacher Development & Youth Empowerment

King Research Collaborative at Georgia State University advances equity in STEM through teacher training, youth engagement, and doctoral research. We offer professional development and AI upskilling for educators, immersive STEM programs that bring underrepresented youth (especially girls) to campus and career exploration that builds pathways into the workforce. Our doctoral students gain mentorship as they conduct research, present at conferences, and publish their findings. Together, these efforts strengthen the pipeline of diverse STEM talent.

Our goal is to expand KRC’s STEM outreach to support three key areas:

  • Teacher Professional Development and AI Upskilling – covering stipends, training materials, and technology.
  • Youth STEM Camps and College Exposure – providing supplies, meals, and transportation so local students can access hands-on learning on GSU’s campus.
  • Doctoral Student Research – funding conference travel, presentation costs, and publication fees to advance local and global scholarship.

Your donation helps ensure that teachers, youth, and doctoral scholars all have the resources they need to thrive.
