The GSU Counseling Center Presents: Suicide Prevention Week September 8th-12th 2025
The Georgia State University Counseling Center is hosting our annual Suicide Prevention Week, and we are reaching out to the Atlanta community because we know you share our commitment to mental well-being and safety. This year’s theme, Changing the Narrative, reminds our students that they are never alone—that hope, healing, and support are always within reach.
Through daily events, we will raise awareness about suicide warning signs and risk factors, reduce stigma, encourage help-seeking, and connect students to vital resources. Together, we will honor those affected by suicide while empowering students to prioritize their mental health for both academic and personal success.
Your gift directly supports programs that save lives by raising awareness, building resilience, and making it possible for students to get the care they need when they need it. Join us in Changing the Narrative—because one conversation, one resource, and one act of care can make all the difference.
