WHAT IS A CLASS GIFT?
Each year, graduating students at Georgia State University show their commitment to the Panther community by “paying it forward” through their first philanthropic gift: the Class Gift Blue Tassel. All contributions to the class gift benefit future Panthers.
THE BLUE TASSEL
Panthers show their true colors –their belief in Panther potential and commitment to “paying it forward”–by wearing the blue tassel at graduation.
Any graduating senior who donates $20.24 or has a family member who makes the Class Gift donation on their behalf will receive a Blue Tassel. Wear it with pride, knowing that you helped a fellow Panther get closer to their dreams.
WHY?
Donations from individual alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends of the university play a critical role in providing support and creating opportunity for students.
