Moot Court Pride: At Georgia State Law, we are immensely proud of the caliber of our Moot Court teams. Year after year, our students demonstrate exceptional talent and dedication, earning accolades in intercollegiate competitions across various areas of law. 

Our track record speaks for itself, with Georgia State Law Moot Court teams consistently ranking among the top performers nationally. 

In the last two years alone, the College of Law’s Moot Court program has:

• Won the Georgia Intrastate competition twice in the last two years
• Been semi-finalists at the Billings, Exum, and Frye National Moot Court Competition
• Been semi-finalists at the Emory Civil Rights & Liberties Competition
• Been semi-finalists at the Jerome Prince Memorial Evidence Competition
• Been regional finalists and national semi-finalists at the Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition

Moot Court needs your help! Because of institutional cuts, the Moot Court budget has been drastically reduced, meaning that without any additional funding, we will be unable to field the same number of teams we have previously. Your generosity will provide the resources needed to sustain our commitment to excellence and ensure that every student has the opportunity to participate fully in Moot Court.

What Impact Can Your Donation Make? Without additional support from community members and alumni, fewer students will be able to participate in our Moot Court program. Moot Court opens doors for students and gives them opportunities both to compete and hone their research, writing, and oral argument skills and to obtain clerkships and jobs post-graduation. Without your support, we won’t be able to give as many deserving and capable students positions in our Moot Court program.
