The 1913 Society – a student ambassador program established by the Office of the President – provides an opportunity for outstanding undergraduate students to serve as official hosts and goodwill ambassadors for the university. The goal of the program is to advance Georgia State’s goals and mission through service to the Office of the President. Student ambassadors represent the university and the president with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
This year, The 1913 Society celebrates a decade of impact to the Georgia State University community, the city of Atlanta, and around the world. Your invaluable contribution will allow the current and future Presidential Ambassadors to continue serving the university with valor, pride, and professionalism.
WHY GIVE: Giving to the 1913 Society will position the organization with the resources necessary to continue serving in their capacity as University Ambassadors. The 1913 student ambassadors staff the university's most high profile events as volunteers, while simultaneously performing as some of the best and brightest the university has to offer scholastically, as well as fulfilling obligations in Athletics, Student Government Association, and a myriad of other student and university-led organizations.
