Jennifer Jenkins, (A.A. 1974, Dekalb College and B.F.A. 1976, UGA) passed away in September of 2021 after fighting a rare form of cancer for seven years. Jennifer was the Fine Arts Production Manager for 38 years at Perimeter College until her retirement in December 2020, and a powerful presence in the professional Atlanta Theatre community. She touched thousands of people in her life, and she was always an advocate for Atlanta theatre.
The family and close friends of Jennifer have established the Jennifer A. Jenkins Memorial Funds. These funds will enable the Fine Arts Department - Theatre Pathway at Perimeter College to provide more opportunities for students, faculty, and the community to enjoy and experience the art of theatre.
To date, two funds have been established raising over $74,000 for students and faculty in theatre arts at Perimeter College.
Now we are in the final push and need your gifts to name the stage in the Cole Auditorium the Jennifer A. Jenkins Stage! The goal we need to reach is $100K in funds raised!

Your gifts to the Jennifer A. Jenkins Theatre Initiatives Fund and the Jennifer A. Jenkins Travel Fund will support the Fine Arts Program at Georgia State's Perimeter College. Contributions will be received by the Georgia State University Foundation. The Jennifer A. Jenkins Stage will be named if the $100,000 goal is met.
